WHY USE MARINE COLLAGEN IN VITALITY SWITCH™?

Collagen has been consumed for millions of years by our hunter gatherer ancestors. In fact, bone marrow was often a prized part of the hunt and fishermen would make bone broth (soup) from the remains of the fish bones and skin because they instinctively knew of the healing properties of collagen.

This unique protein is high in hydroxy proline and glycine which helps rebuild connective tissue. This includes bones, ligaments, tendons, skin, hair, nails, and most importantly... the gut!!

Wild Caught Deep Sea Marine Collagen was intentionally selected because it is more sustainable, has less impact on the environment and up to 150% more bioavailable than bovine or porcine collagen.

In Vitality Switch™ we use the skin and bones of wild caught deep sea snapper that have been harvested for meat. This means there is virtually no impact on the environment. Our marine collagen has a molecular weight much smaller (less than 2000 Daltons) than other collagen types which allows for the greater absorption.
